There was a Garden Party at Bankfoot House held on the 28th August 2022. A most succesful event with residents , family members and staff present. Catering by the kitchen staff. There was a piper for the occasion and music provided by the Moffat folk group.

We hope to introduce a choice for meals in Bankfoot starting early 2022. This was one of the areas for improvement by residents at the last satisfaction survey. Our meals are prepared in the kitchen . Bankfoot does not rely on ready made meals as often the case in homes. Thanks to Janice in the kitchen who has gone to great lengths to set this up. Latest News from Bankfoot House
These last months have put enormous strain on Staff, Residents and their Families as restrictions have meant that normal visiting and contact has not be possible. A Summer House in the garden was used but with the autumn weather this is no longer feasible and we are looking at ways to allow increased and more flexible visiting arrangements inside Bankfoot itself. Balancing everyone’s wish to have more visiting with our key responsibility to keep our Residents & Staff well is not easy but we are doing our very best to achieve this balance. In the meantime Bankfoot remains Covid free – due to the commitment & professionalism of our staff team and the support & cooperation of Families & indeed the whole Community.
